Political and social processes in society proceed cyclically: from stability to the emergence of internal tension, crisis, stagnation, and then to a new upsurge. Simultaneously, from inspiration to depression, my reaction to what is happening is also pulsing.
In my project, I would like to look at these processes from the point of view of aesthetics, visualizing them in abstract marble sculptures. The triggers that inspired me for this project were moments of inner turmoil, tension and impotence, hope and frustration, and I would like to create a form that concentrates these feelings in myself.
The project was nominated for the AZ Prize in 2021.
